While many birders are using this opportunity to enjoy reduced drive times to their favorite birding spots, for the local patch and yard birder, birding hasn't changed greatly.
BIRDS OF THE SEASON
Early June saw spring migration winding down as well as a handful of late spring vagrants. Right on their heels were the first southbound shorebirds. As we moved into July shorebird numbers increased rapidly.
