To love birds is to know that beauty is all around us, if we just take the time to notice. There is a tree in Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, where I like to walk as often as I can.
BIRDS OF THE SEASON
Early June saw spring migration winding down as well as a handful of late spring vagrants. Right on their heels were the first southbound shorebirds. As we moved into July shorebird numbers increased rapidly.
